This is the latest business card printed in the studio on our Chandler and Price press.
These cards were designed by graphic designer Anne-Marie Kim for her own use.
Elevated Press is pleased to work with graphic designers by letterpress printing their personal and client projects. If you have a design that you'd like letterpress printed, contact the studio and let's talk about it.
On September 1st, Elevated Press took the next big step, signing the lease on a new studio space! The space was formerly a woodshop, and we soon discovered the evidence of that... so after quite a bit of sawdust clean-up, we were ready to move in.
It's been a bit of a slow transition moving everything from our home studio to the new space, but once we get it all set-up, it's going to be great. I'll post some updated photos soon.
One of my favorite things to do in the summertime is tend to my garden. But the best is when the fruits of my labor can be picked and eaten. Here are some prideful pics.
This is the container garden I maintain along my driveway, which also happens to be the only sunny spot in my yard.
This is a really nice video by Mike Ambs that sums up the event of day at the Shadow Art Fair. Unfortunately, I didn't make it into the video, but as Mike told me, everytime he came over to get a shot, I was helping someone make a print on the letterpress or talking with someone at the table, which I guess I can't complain about too much ; )
These business/calling cards were designed by Elevated Press for artist Noel Bielaczyc, using Noel's illustration of a fish head. We feel that the cards perfectly merge Noel's abilities as an artist and a cook, and his experience as a fish monger.
